THE IMPACT OF HEALTHY TREES

Advancements in biological and digital technologies are providing new tools that can be used to manage agricultural fields, groves and orchards more efficiently and more intelligently to properly design more sustainable systems. 

Our Invaio Labs Digital Tree team is working on the development of a science-based interdisciplinary system approach to understand and quantify dynamic processes affecting tree productivity, health and net positive environmental footprint.

The Invaio Labs Digital tree platform will integrate biology, chemistry, and physics of the soil-tree-pathogen-atmosphere continuum in a unique geospatial computer simulation system designed to capture biotic and abiotic interactions in managed groves, orchards and forests.

The Invaio Labs Digital tree platform will digitize tree health with the integration of computer vision, high-resolution remotely sensed imagery, process-based modeling coupled with artificial intelligence. Our objective is to sustainably manage the biotic and abiotic factors affecting their yield and their environmental impact.

The Invaio Labs Digital tree platform will assess, predict and scale productivity and environmental footprint (greenhouse gas emission, soil carbon sequestration, runoff of chemicals) of trees grown under different management strategies in current and projected climates.
